Who We Are

We are professionals from various fields: Law, Educational Sciences, Waldorf Pedagogy, Art Therapy, Curative Pedagogy, Biographical Work, Emergency Pedagogy, Biodynamic Agriculture, and Childcare who dedicate ourselves to sheltering children in vulnerable social conditions with the desire to materialize a dignified future for them. Through interdisciplinary work, we aim to offer them the opportunity to regain balance, trust, autonomy, and a love for life during their time in the Care Home.

The ideal we share is that every act of care carried out for a child with respect and love is a step toward restoring fundamental moral values for humanity, within a network of compassion and shared responsibility.

Mission

To shelter and accompany boys and girls whose rights to parental care have been violated, providing them with an environment where they feel safe and valued. We offer healing activities and daily rhythms that foster the development of their capacities and their physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Vision

To contribute to social balance and equal opportunities by providing boys and girls in vulnerable situations the chance to aspire to become adults capable of forging their own life projects and contributing their abilities to the common good.

To raise awareness about the importance of childhood care as a seed of the future and as a force for social healing.

How we accompany children

On the first place, we genuinely accept each child´s biography and individuality. Our goal is to make them feel valued and respected within a warm atmosphere of trust. By fostering daily rhythms in accordance to children´s ages and stages of development, their sense of security and predictability is enhanced. In addition to supporting official schooling, we provide plenty of free-play time, story-telling, and experiences that encourage contact with nature and the development of the senses. Gardening, carpentry, and handcrafts´ workshops, as well as the presence of music, art and eurythmy in everyday life, aim at helping each child find inner peace, activate and experience their own body, and awaken the self-healing forces that will allow them to develop autonomy and self-confidence.
